Difference between 28 and 29 pickup....

Using Neil's site as Tim listed above, there is a sub-section on mirrors, https://aafords.com/aa-body-types/mirrors/, check location of mirror mounting holes shown in your first picture. Those dimension will help you narrow down timeframe of at least your cabs design. Hard to tell from your pic...

    1929 closed cab mounting blocks

FWIW, It looks as though your using the AA bolt location on your cab, and your frame was for a car, as it is not drilled for CCPU mounting... Check this link for details on 82-A cabs from Neil Wilson click link for AA-82205 d3 Floor Pan...

    28 closed cab pickup colors

Have not ordered the new guide as yet, an unsure I will from some of the posts I've read. Can clearly see differences and the darkness of the colors. Thanks Neil P.S. - Hitman, I humbly stand corrected! Commercial Drab is closer to what I had been thinking of.

    28 closed cab pickup colors

Thank you Neil, I was/am aware of the color drop in Aug28 as you had addressed in previous thread - https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?p=980747#post980747 Was merely looking for clarification, as I have not seen either Commercial Gray or Commercial Drab in person or online to...

    28 closed cab pickup colors

Wasn't aware of that! Color chips in the published Paint And Finish Guides therefor must be wrong. Commercial Gray and the latter Commercial Drab were also available, and not at all dark green from the examples previous posters have shared, but it's an elusive color to find original examples of...

    More ?'s about vibration...

Will be takng it apart in a couple weeks to find the cause, both of these have been suggested as potential causes! Tires may be a factor, however it feels more like it's under my feet or below cab after shifting into 3rd, so the universal and bearing seem most suspect.... Thanks to all for the...

    More ?'s about vibration...

Purdy, it doesn't seem like lagging to me, but I've only been in one other Model A for comparison....it sure seems like everything is functioning as it should. I've even tried it out earlier today on a bit of a downhill grade, it coasts quietly in 3rd but starts up as soon as you press pedal...

    More ?'s about vibration...

It very likely not the flywheel and pressure plate from running motor, this motor had been rebuilt, run for several years, then car was in an accident, motor pulled and put into another car for several more years, then removed about 15 years ago. I acquired it about a year ago, went thru it...
