    Has anybody used an electronic distributor , such a the units found on e-bay? I need to replace the one in my 255 or rebuild what I have. I am running a Holley 4 barrel. Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Have run a Martin Turbo syst on brandx a few times. It is a suck through system and worked great.

    On the welded- make sure feed cable is all the way into the mixer block, had that problem.

    Flathead coupe issues

    I see everybody is guessing, do here is mine. The engine is too lean, vacumn leak or too small a jet.Surge is caused by the power valve opening when the vacumn falls off and closes when the vac comes up. Is your engine bigger than the other mentioned or just in better condition?

    I have not bought the car. Too many flags were flapping. I was wondering if anyone had used them.I am trying to get the address to view the car and go from there.You all seem to have similar flags raised as I do, and thank for your advice. Motor on!
