    parts vendor in Canada

This caught me attention, thanks! I just looked at their site and see that the minimum is now $500 Canadian. But I am pretty sure I could spend 500 bucks!

    parts vendor in Canada

Thanks everyone. I wasn't aware of Rust in Pieces in Stony Plain. I will have to check them out next time I am passing through there. I have the catalog from The Old Car Center in Langley, which is great but doesn't look like they have online ordering (it's sometimes tough to find time during...

    parts vendor in Canada

I am needing to order some parts for my 28, and was wondering where you Canadian guys are getting parts from now that George Moir in Alberta is out of business? I'd prefer to try and avoid all the import hassles with duty, etc. that comes with ordering from the usual places in the US. Thanks in...

    Fuel polishing worked

This sounds like a great idea, and one I had been thinking about for one of my 28 phaetons, although I was planning to have the gas drain into a jerry can and then repeatedly dump it back in. But some of the posts also got me thinking about getting decades of sludge and rust scale out of...

Model A tech advisors team from Paul Shinn

I find the questions and answers posted here to be very helpful as I slowly work on my two 28 phaetons. But I really like Paul's videos as well. As someone has already noted, it is good to actually see how something is done as opposed to read how it is done! I have also quite liked Tina and...

    Car ID (non Model T)

Thanks! I just registered there and posted the pic. Appreciate the tip!

    Car ID (non Model T)

Oh, and the photo I posted was taken in 1914, so we are in the right frame. Thanks.

    Car ID (non Model T)

Thanks Will N and gz. The thing that catches my eye on that car is the front fenders are pretty much square at the front as opposed to being rounded. I was thinking 1914 Stutz Bulldog, but the only picture I can find of that year on the internet is of a model that someone built of one.

    Car ID (non Model T)

Sorry, this is not a post about T's but from that era. I am wondering if anyone can give me an idea of the make of car in the photo? A friend asked, and I am not sure. The picture was apparently taken in the mid to late 1910s in British Columbia Canada. Thanks.

    Worth saving?

You hit the nail on the head about how negative comments can have effects for a long time. He's still in business and I am sure anyone from western Canada would know who I am talking about. And you are totally right too about not needing this forum to be glad I kept it! I have always known...

    Worth saving?

Thanks guys for all the positive replies. My plan for the near future is to try and get it running a bit better and driving it, as Mike V Florida mentioned. I am sure I will have questions as I work on the "get it running a bit better" part! In the longer term, I was thinking a wood flat deck...

    Worth saving?

I've been lurking around here for a while, and the post by Beater called "saved a pile" has resulted in me finally writing about my car. I have a 28 A phaeton (Canadian built) that I bought as a teenager back in the mid-1980s. Like many old cars in western Canada (and Beater's), the back of the...
