    potential catastrophe?

If the hole is overlaping the stud is it possible to enlarge the hole and either retap for a larger stud or use a helicoil . Also while I have not tried it myself have had a few people recommend heating the stud and applying wax to aid removal of a stuck stud

Is the Roadster pickup same as the cars

Is the roadster pickup mechanically the same as the cars. Still trying to figure this stuff out from the limited reading I have done it seems that they are they same. Overall length of cars almost the same ?

Thanks that helps I have a small garage/shed that is about 15' long so a Model A should fit. As I look at some photos I see that the coups have a trunk or rumble seat and that area is evidently used by the 2nd seat in the larger cars. Still new here and learning 1 bolt at a time;)

Overall length of cars almost the same ?

I did a couple of searches but not hitting the answer. I was reading in a book "how to restore model a" and it gives the overall lengths 152 - 155" for all the cars just checking if this is correct seems like a coupe should be shorter then a fordor or town car.

    tire cracks

No actual knowledge on Model a tires but have been repairing and driving 40's & 50's cars for years. I have to agree with other comments about tubes. The tubes are what hold the air and tires with minor cracks or splits will be ok to drive at least I never had a problem for local driving.
