Actually, an unpressurized radiator with 50/50 antifreeze in it can get much higher than 212but not that much to worry about.

I, being 77 years old, remember studded tires very well. I had them on my work car, and in my garage, I even had a studding gun, and studded other peoples tires. At one time I even had all 4 tires on my old work 63 chevy car studded. Handled great on slick roads.

I can get one of those 1 ohm 100 watt resistors really cheap from eBay, so I think that is what I will do. Thanks all.

Tractor supply has it in quart squeeze bottles, and it is the same as "OO" grease. I use it in all Snapper equipment that calls for "OO" grease which is practically everything. I also put in my A steering box, and the U joint. Good stuff for lots of applications that need something heavier...

I am sure that rewinding the coils would be best, but I really would like to keep the horn original, as someday, I will probably put it up for sale. Especially seeing what people are selling horns for now days. I can probably get 1/2 as much for the horn as we sold the whole car for in 1964...
