Depends on what brand ...... chinese are obviously the cheapest as in $& quality....., The ones we've supplied weren't expensive actually they're LESS expensive compared to the original as you DON'T need/require/use a sleeve as the bearing has a inner ring (sleeve) pressed into it it's a heavy...

You can use a metric needle roller inner race conversion ......, I'll put my "white boffins" coat on &do some some research one of our members here in Melbourne Australia has done such a conversionh &has done/run thousands of KM'S without any breakages damage or failure! :).

The side with the lip&spring is what goes into the axle housing /wheel hub if it's up side down it'll leak as there's no surface for the shaft/hub to rub onto or for the lip of the seal to fit/rub onto .....

I hope the oil seal is A1 (leather lipped)?......, as they're kinder to older metalurgy&lubricants then modern neoprene rubber oil seals &are less prone to leakage BUT you have to &must soak in light engine oil 1st before installing otherwise they'll wear the shaft as leather as well as neoprene...

The chinese 88107AR SHOULD be an EXACT/PRECISE/SAME dimensions&type btw/fyi: the width of a 88107AR is .9843 (25mm) your chinese 88107AR SHOULD be that overall width....., if not then there'll be a gap between where the bearing&collar sits on the axle not too mention the rear axle inner oil...

I'd personally return it & get C&G to supply the correct right type of bearing , It appears&seems that they only supplied a generic ball bearing in the same dimensions BUT/EXCEPT the CORRECT&RIGHT rear wheel bearing is nearly 26MM W (wide) so there'll be a gap between where the sandwhich plate...

H/D axle &convertibles&wagons use 88128-R they're a larger size bearing &locking collar/retainer/shrink ring as is the rear wheel oil seal.
