    Tonneau covers for 48-50 f-1’s

Re: Tonneau covers for 48-50 f-1’s It used to be Truxedo offered a spot on their web to have them make a custom cover, I did it on my 47 pickup. I haven't looked lately, I think they are still in business. Just a thought.

Anyond here have a "Gantry Crane"?

i love my HF gantry crane. i added a rolling chain hoist, very useful around the garage. i don't have a lift, so mine is free to roll all over without anything in the way. the chain hoist really makes it useful, it is precise in raising or lowering and i don't have to worry about my personal...

Flattys, alu or steel heads vs power

i don't think its too hard to get around 180 hp on a NA flathead, i seem to do it without many exotic parts and OE heads, my data is dyno verified. If you find and read Joe Abbin's book on blown flatheads, he has quite a lot of flow bench information on various OE heads and aluminum heads. He...

My steel rims fit just fine, they're 16".

    Advice Required2 - M47 Pickup 12v Conversion

I converted my M 47 to 12 volt. Once again, very easy and not too expensive. I used Speedway's 12 circuit kit, instructions are easy to follow. I've used that kit on 5 trucks so far, it takes about a day to do the job. Converting or not converting the gauges is your hardest decision.

Advice Required - M47 Pickup Brake Conversion

I converted my M47 to front disc brakes, it's simple. Speedway sells the complete kit. I bought an adapter to convert my master cylinder to a dual, new brake lines. I've done this conversion a bunch of times, it's easy and works great. You keep your stock spindle and all the front end...

1941 to 1948 ford heater blower motor replacement

I have one of the replacement motors from C&G, i think it lists for $80 or so. its one direction, you can choose which direction it spins by which wire you hook up to red and black. I'd sell it to you shipped for the $80, i found an original motor and got it repaired so it spins both directions.
