Thanks for the response someone had put the wrong pulley on found a aftermarket pulley lined up the pulleys perfectly.

I think I found the right pulley. I have seen those spacers but did not know where to get them.

I had some time today researched a little pretty sure it has the wrong water pump pulley on. Just can't believe it was being run that away.

Thanks for the reply. I thought about that since I know this motor was together I'm wondering if they were running it that way.

I'm probably missing something obvious. Putting together a 1965 260 the harmonic balancer lines up with the generator and the ac lines up with crank but water pump pulley does not. Bought this car it was apart built a different 260 used the timing cover from the second 260 I bought. I have...
