For Sale: 1934 Greyhound Mascot, Unused, American Arrow Stainless Steel

SOLD! The 1934 Ford was my Father's favorite car. Owning a Tudor deluxe like he had was a great pleasure for several years. When it was sold, I kept a few small items and original literature that best represented my enjoyment of the car. One item was the new reproduction Greyhound Mascot...

Correct Jack for 1941 1/2 ton pickup

Two jacks of the attached design came with my 1941 1/2 ton pickup. They look nothing like the bumper jacks used on the car line. Are they correct for this truck. If so, how are they used? Placement? If not, what does the correct jack look like? What might these go to? Thanks

Recommendation for early V-8 Ford mechanic in Central/SW Ohio Region?

I'm new to early Ford V-8s and would appreciate a referral to an experienced V-8 Ford mechanic in the Dayton/Columbus/Cincinnati area. I have a newly purchased '34 Tudor Sedan with a '37 engine that needs a fresh look at some persistent problems. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks!

1941 Ford Mayfair Maroon Touch up paint sources?

I'm looking for advice on selecting a source for the one-year 1941 Ford truck Mayfair Maroon color touch up paint, preferably as acrylic enamel or lacquer. Only a few ounces are needed. I've found several sources on the Internet (2 oz bottles, spray cans, etc), but someone who has...

Defroster Vents for 1941 pickup. Source?

Excellent advice. Do you have a photo or sketch of exactly where that foam rubber is placed? After all this effort, I’d like to get it right. Thanks!

Defroster Vents for 1941 pickup. Source?

This is my 10th post, which allows me to do something new on the site. I just have to figure out what it is! Mercurycyclone mentions the other, perhaps more important reason for adding some adhesive and extra squeeze on the hose. That is, sealing the hose to the vent/nozzle. I found serious...

Defroster Vents for 1941 pickup. Source?

Great photos from Mercurycyclone. Thank you. I didn't want to use something that might become soft or unglued. That's the reason for the wire. Still, by keeping the 'back pull' on the hose to a minimum, a slip fit may be sufficient.

Defroster Vents for 1941 pickup. Source?

I have no idea what was done at the factory, but considering the uncomfortable positions necessary to attach the vent and hose to the dash, my plan is to add some additional security via wrapped, then tightened wire. No interest in revisiting the project, especially on the driver's side.

Sorry, by 'them,' I meant the defroster vent pair. I have a heater. Thanks.

Defroster Vents for 1941 pickup. Source?

Pistonbroke, thank you. I have the ones from Kube coming, so I'll see what I can do. Back to Mercurycyclone, let me know if the pair of vents shown are available for purchase. Thanks to all...my post count is rising.

Defroster Vents for 1941 pickup. Source?

That's helpful additional information. I did read somewhere the pickup defroster vents had a curve in them. I'm going to try the pair Kube has available. The 4" attachment hole span is correct. Mercurycyclone, if they don't work, is the pair in the photo available for purchase? 51504bat. Good...
