Sadly, I didn't get to drive the Model A this summer as much as I would have liked. As I think about getting the car ready for winter storage (I'm in Chicago -- it could snow tomorrow!) I wonder about flushing the radiator either with plain clean water, or with a commercial rust flush...

Each spring I use a rust inhibitor/cleaner in the radiator. I am wondering if it is harmful to leave this chemical in the radiator all summer, or if it should be flushed out and replaced. Replaced with what? plain water? A mix of anti-freeze? Fresh inhibitor? Something else? Thanks!

This is a small matter, but a frustrating one. Does anyone have a good solution to keeping the top brackets of the rumble seat from popping out of the slots on the lid deck? I know where to loosen the screws to get the brackets back in, but it is very awkward to reach the screw heads...

I have a Ford script motometer with the temperature gauge showing through a small window. The upper half of the cap seems to be stuck to the lower half, such that the entire motometer housing comes off the radiator when I try to open it. I’ve removed it and tried to open, cleaned the rust...
