Anyone from the FB other than me participate in the parade? I took my 29 AA, it was fun.

Try all of the above suggestions. Had the same problem with my 29 ccpu door. Tried moving the striker, nothing worked. Then I placed a 1/16" thick shim under the outer most part of the striker and it worked. Never had another problem with door popping open.

I bought my 56 f100 column at a salvage yard for $150. I used the pitman arm and drag link. Went to NPD and bought a seal, gasket and 2 brass bushings $15.00. Put it in my 29 AA, much easier to steer.

Might try a pneumatic die grinder with a 2" cup shaped wire brush then something like purple cleaner, pressure wash, blow dry with compressed air. carry on

For my 29 AA, I went to pull and save, took a bench sear from mid 80's f150, cut 18" out of center, lowered the height, it slides front to back, and the back folds over, cost $400. to recover. I like it. carry on

The engine will run but the spark will be weak and a weak spark makes for a weak engine, this a know for a fact.
