Does anyone know what all is involved with removing a 1930-31 firewall from a body on its frame (assembled car) and installing a better firewall? Are there spot welds which make this quite difficult? Thanks in advance for your input.

Can a late 1931 style gas tank be installed in a 1930-31 car with a straight firewall (not indented firewall) without damaging or affecting the straight firewall? Does the late 1931 tank outlet align up with the hole in the straight firewall used by the fuel bowl? Thank you.
