    Oil line

Haven’t checked the pan. Engine is in the machine shop getting a rebuild, so things are on hold for now. Took a good look at the banjo fitting and think I can braze a steel line to it and either run a solid steel line or adapt a flex line to it. Thanks for everything so far.

    Oil line

The oil return line was a flexible cloth covered line going from the bottom of the filter canister to a hollow bolt with a banjo flttlng on it. The hollow bolt is on the left side of the distributor and is one of the bolts that hold the distributor to the block. It doesn’t matter if it is...

    Oil line

Can anyone help me locate the oil return line on a ‘41 Ford engine that goes from the oil filter to the hollow bolt on the left side of the dist? I read some posts from (Kubes 40) from 11 years ago with lots of information, but I still come up short on my search. Thank you.

    35 Ford steering box

Thanks everyone, I think I will try to find a later model steering box. From what I have read it seems the way to go, but may be hard to find. Thanks again.

    35 Ford steering box

I have a 1935 Ford pickup and want to change to a better box for easier steering. Will a 525 Saginau fit without too much trouble? I’ve heard people have had trouble with the Vega boxes not lasting. I am running Red’s headers.

Thanks again. Tried removing shims, or gaskets, until just a slight drag on the wheel and it handles fine. I'm going to try the lock to lock thing now and see what happens.

    Schramm

Just purchased a Schramm air compressor with a Ford flathead engine on it. I can't find a model number on it anywhere. As far as I can tell, according to the hole under the coil on the distriberater, it seems to be a 1937 to 1941 engine. It runs good, but I have no idea how to operate the...
