    1928-29 Top Wood kit screws

A friend of mine bought a top wood kit and a screw kit a long time ago. And now he is trying to mount it. There are a lot of quite big washers och some mixed "wood" screws that we can't figure out where they go? Any ideas? Or is there an instruction?

    Bypass oil filter connections.

Sorry about my OCD Mart ;-) This is how it was mounted on the 46 engine. But I may stand corrected, found this French Flathead, you said you used a French Canister, didn't you? Seams that one uses the side for the feed line from the oil pump: So i learned something today too ;-)

    Got a gearbox?

Thanks, Mart In Sweden, we have the clutch pivot parts, on the left side ;-) If I do anything I will put the gears in another housing. Was just curious what it was used for from the beginning.

    Got a gearbox?

Thank for the info. If I understand right it's for a 39-40 Fourcylindr commercial truck/car. I will put it on a shelf for now, but I have 48 and 78 cases to put the gears in. Could be good to have a spare one, I have broken some over the years ;-)

    8BA crank in 59AB?

I think it will work but must double check. I have a 8BA block cracked along the oil pan rail. But i have a standard-bore 59AB block in nice condition. Now i am thinking like this, if i take the crank and rods from the 8BA. Will the crank and rods a bolt in? I know i need to change the cam...

    '37 Ford all locked up

I would try to remove the starter, its only two bolts and the negative wire. Then you know if the starter is the problem. Gear box stuck i two gears gives similar problems.

    Top Wood

I have repaired the the bottom part of the Body now. And i am starting thinking on the top wood bows an how to mount them. Bought a kit from Macs a couple of years ago. Should i impregnate the wood with something? And what is the best order to mount the wood parts. Is it some page on the Webb...

Do you think a sleeve will fix this?

Id try brazing the crack, then do the boring and sleeving. And start it up with Bars leak in the Coolant.

    My Tudor Project

Well i guess i am a glutton for punishment. The Green machine is a Swedish three wheeled Moped called shopper, that i got from my both sons on my 60's birthday. The 1hpr 50cc engine is replace by a 450cc Suzuki four cylinder engine. And yes it moves :-)

    My Tudor Project

Back in 1988 i Built this Fiberglass Roadster, on a re-pro frame with a Volvo B20 Drive line. The only original Model A parts was the hood and radiator. But I always wanted a Tudor, since i could not find one in Sweden back in the eighties, I bought a Roadster body. Fast forward, four years...
