Has anyone used the Optima battery hold down bracket that Mike's Affordable Model A Parts offers? Is it compatible with the stock cables?

I have obtained a Borg Warner 5 speed transmission with a spline attached to the tail. Supposedly, this transmission will fit a Model A with some modifications. Any idea what vehicle this might have originally come from? Anybody have any thoughts about using it, good, bad or ugly?

Is a 1928-29 Roadster top assembly the same as a 1930-31 Standard top assembly? I have a complete assembly that I am going to take to Hershey to sell, but I am not sure what year it fits. Are there any differences among the years?

Mr. Paul restored 4 shocks for in me in 1979 that went on my '31 Victoria. After 35 years, the shocks are still working properly, don't leak, and the car still rides properly. Enough said.

Bought a 1930 radiator from Brassworks, has two problems: 1) Filler neck too short, can't use an original Stanco locking Motometer cap which does fit the original radiator, 2) tabs that connect the radiator to radiator shell are MUCH thinner than the original, so flimsy you can bend them with...
