    Canadian hardware?

Yes I bought mine through old car centre in British Columbia. They may have to order it but also try Snyder's Antique Auto. I just restored my early Canadian Model A Tudor to 95 per cent authenticity. Good Luck!

    Model A Ford Cabriolet Top

Thanks. I've been discussing other top issues with Mike and he is very accommodating in sending extra materials but I would like to see more detailed "in progress" photos or instructions of a cabriolet top installation. Hopefully someone can chime in here with both or either of these. Below...

    Model A Ford Cabriolet Top

I've purchased a top from Classtique a number of months ago and I'm having many issues with fitting this top. Does anyone have photos or more detailed instructions for a 1929 Cabriolet top? Nothing online for a cabriolet that I can find. For one thing the rear bow should be 13 5/8" high, not...

    Cabriolet Top Side window flap

I'm in the process of replacing the top on my 29 Cabriolet and was wondering if the side window flap goes over the glass when the glass is raised. It looks like in all the photos I've seen online the flap is behind the glass which to me defeats the purpose of the flap sealing the glass. I know...

1930 Cabriolet top or upholstery question strips?

So I assume this top has the zippered rear window which became available in March 1930 according to the JS. My Dec 29 Cabriolet didn't have a zipper and leak like a sieve! I ordered a new kit from Classique.

When did the E28 Passenger cars Left Hand Brake move?

This is obviously a late reply but my Canadian Chassis does have a number on the chassis. I've decided to stay with the original left E Brake complete with a freshly made like original dust boot ! Car is now 97 per cent complete Early 1928 (June 15) as attached

    1928 Interior Details

It was done through SMS Auto Fabrics in Oregon but I believed they used a shop in the East coast. Contact Doug. It took alot of prodding but eventually did it !

    Dixie upholstery

Yes Dixie has been around for decades in Kitchener Ontario. Is Cartouche gone ? Isn't it part of the Excler group or Mac's Antique Auto now? I was speaking to them earlier this Fall. I just recently completed my early 28 Canadian Tudor complete with original bedford cord and coachlace trim...

    1928 Interior Details

Hi, i'm just seeing this message now. I repainted my mouldings to the exact color of the untouched inside of the mouldings which appaears to have been Moulding Grey from the paint guide. My car is now a freshly restored early Canadian Tudor. The interior is Bedford Cord with triple color( brown...

    1927 model t panel fasteners / clips

Snyder's has them using a nylon clip instead of metal. however I got them for my model a but they are too large to fit the hole in the door. I have to figur out an easy way to trim them down. The hole is 9/32 .They will compress without the ring nail but that obviously won't work to hold the panel.

Coachlace Trim for Early A (AR),hubcaps and Bell housing

Yes I had the coachlace weaved through SMS Auto Fabrics but they had someone from Eastern US weave it I believe. Funny that SMS kept referring to it as windlace as well. It took time getting the loom setup and lot's of persuading emails to get it done but worth it in the end. It was definitely...

    What means the quail?

Have any of you seen this ornament that my Dad placed on the radiator of the 1929 Cabriolet that he restored in 1966. This car originally was purchased new by a gentleman on the assembly line so maybe had an inside track to other suggested ornaments. The attached has a head that flips forward to...

Coachlace Trim for Early A (AR),hubcaps and Bell housing

Oh ... and here are my door panels with the coachlace installed for my June 1928 Tudor (Canadian) .As close to my originals as I can get. My car came with two map pockets as well contrary to what the judging guidelines state. My car with the left E Brake also has the fender aprons over the top...
