What jets should I be using?

Hello my Ford Barn Brothers. Main Jets in my "Ford" 94 carb has puzzled me. Finally scored some different sizes at RPM Performance 5 different pairs for like $12 on Ebay. Pulled out 50's, and I believe they were original in my 47 Flatty. Tried 54's first, since I'm in So. CA. near sea...

    Carb Riser Questions

OH!.... what do you think if I did go up a couple jet sizes? Doesn't really run too rich yet.

    Carb Riser Questions

Those are all good and "REAL" comments. I guess the motor just seemed to not work as hard to make the same power. It seems to be less power than before that's all. I know what I need to do and quit trying to find a easier way to pump up the power. I am pretty sure the gears in the rear...

    Carb Riser Questions

Hi Friends... Lovin my 47 Flattie. Here in So CA, I have some hills to climb when I'm out cruzin. NEED MORE POWER. I'm totally stock, except for dual exaust. Found a 2" riser for my Ford 94 carb. It's all installed with nice Holly good flowing Air Cleaner. I thought maybe the better...

47 Ford Tudor.... needs a good home

I know, it's not cheap. But it is super solid and needs little. Original Flathead V8 runs good. Smooth and quiet. Odometer says 25,300 miles, and it just might be actual miles. Don't know for sure. Still 6 Volt, and a new battery, cranks and starts very well, and everything works except...

    Stalls when I let off

Sorry for the typo.... The new Power Valve did not leak. So some improvement on running too rich. Problem now is the rpms fall off too much when coming to a stop, and motor dies. Am I too lean on my idle mixture ? Thanks

    Stalls when I let off

Hello Fellas... Since my V8 with 94 carb was running real rich, after the carb rebuild. The Forum got me switching out the Power Valve. And it did leak on me after I filled to bowl. The new PV doesn't leak, but now I can seem to set the fuel mixture for idle and idle screw. If I get...

    fender welting fit...

Hey "39", Just did that too. I am sure the amount of crud in your fender seam makes all the difference with this task. "40"s right, loosen your bolts so there is room to place the beading in (past where you want it to end up), as you move from fender bolt to fender bolt it will settle. Tip...
