    1931 wide bed pickup

Sold SOLD. This is the late '31 wide bed model. Almost everything on it has been replaced with new or rebuilt. It runs, drives and looks excellent. I just finished the 500 mi. break-in period on the engine. Below is a list of things done.

    Car Cover???

If possible I'd suggest closing in the sides of the carport. There are good quality car covers but they have their own problems like, poor fit for a Model A, abrasion when there's wind, and hiding what going on under that cover. Most of the A vendors carry covers that fit pretty well. Good luck.

Just in case anyone is interested in Texas you can use an antique plate as long as the number is not currently in use and it can be restored (correct color) but MUST be an original plate. No reproductions allowed. The one on my '31 pickup is white with black numbers because it's a commercial...

    1931 Pickup Build

Here are a couple of photos of my 31 PU. You can see the mount on the steering column. The flasher is mounted behind the drivers kick panel with the wiring going down and out into the engine compartment. From there the wires go up the column to the signal unit and down to the battery. In the...
