Thanks guys, from the samples I have measured, my best estimate for the length of the side glass is about 32".

Does anyone know what length the door glass on a '35 '36 three window ought to be?

    35 regulator 3 window?

Is anybody able to tell me please, what is the correct length for door glass on 1935/1936 three window coupe? There is a difference of about 3/8" in length between the left and right door glass in my car. I'm hoping one of them is correct. Thanks, Mick.

Adventures in gas tank restoration. '36

Thanks Mart, reckon I'll have to shop online to get as close as I can to the original slotted pan head screw. I don't suppose you know what the length of these screws ought to be? When I first removed my sender, there were no two screws the same.

Can anyone enlighten me on what the '36 sender unit mounting screw thread type is? Or better still, where I may be able to source a new set of six?

    1936 3 Window Coupe

Your original 6V wiring is of a heavier gauge and is superior to what is required for a 12v system. For mine, 6V or 12V, keep as much of the existing wiring in there as you can.

Doug, also be mindful not to allow the fuel line inside your tank to become blocked during the sealing process.

    1935 Gas tank repair

Thanks guys. What happened was that I exposed four pin hole size leaks along a welded repair when I blasted the outside of the tank for a respray. Someone previously had gone to a lot of effort to cut open the gas tank completely, separating everything below the gas pick up line for cleaning...

    1935 Gas tank repair

Does anybody know if early Ford tanks were plated for rust prevention? My understanding is that modern tanks are nickel plated. Is a mild steel patch panel suitable material to welded in to repair a leaking (not rusted) 1935 gas tank?

    Headlight Lens Retaining Clips

Here's a couple of pictures that will hopefully display the type of clip I am chasing.

    Headlight Lens Retaining Clips

Could someone please enlighten me on where I might find the retaining clip that protrudes through the top slot of the headlight bucket for the headlight rim to hold on to on a '35-'36? I've seen the same type of clip listed in several aftermarket catalogues, but for '28-'29,'30-'31,'32, and...

1935 Ford tail light brace (RHS)

Mounted on the inside of the rear fender, it's the small steel bracket that the tail light stud is bolted to. Thanks, Mick.
