    Ammco 4181 Reference Chart

I recently purchased an Ammco 890 Brake Shoe Arc Grinder, with the 8250 shoe clamp. I'm in need of the #4181 Reference chart they tells you what gauge plates to use for specific brake shoe designs. Anyone on her have a copy? Model T Oversteering

This is accurate. You can rebush a Model T front end for under $200 in parts. You'll be blown away by how nice it drives after. A Model T front end in good condition shouln't need a steering damper.

Have you removed the drain plug on the carburetor bowl and verified that you have fuel flowing to the carburetor?

Please repond - magneto advice needed

I would definitely advise returning the magneto to proper operating condition (unless you're trying to build a hot-rod T). They run much better on magneto when all is in good condition.

    Cheapest (best value) Tires

    Magneto Advice Needed

Search "The Model T Ford Ignition System" on fordmodelt.net. Its a great article that explains just how clever the model t ford ignition system was. The article explains it better than me, but when running on magneto, the wave length of the current actually changes timing with engine speed...

    Model t aluminum head question

Never hurts to use copper spray on a copper "sandwich" style head gasket. However, do not use copper spray on modern silicone impregnated head gaskets. They already have sealant built into them.

My 1926 Tudor needs a little more gumption...

A "Tour Grind" cam can make a big difference. Before you got for expensive and highly involved modifications make sure you have the basics covered. When was the last time you had your coils rebuilt/tuned? They make a huge difference in the performance of your engine. If they need to be done...

    Timer Question

I run either Anco Flapper style timer or crystal timer. Both work great and have toured many miles with both. In my customer cars I install Ancos.

KR500, Hi, I hope this message finds you well. I know this is an older post, but since I'm a new member I am not yet allowed to send private messages. I see you've been able to provide Ammco reference chart #4181 to other users on this forum, and I was hoping you could do the same for me. I...
