Thanks for all the advise I would have loved to take a million pictures but I got the car from my grandfather in law and he had taken most of the wood out so I guess I will order a kit and start the puzzle and Hope for the best!!!!

I have a 30 murry body fordor that i am going to put a wood kit in. I was wanting to know how and some tricks to make it easier? Is there a book for the fordors that covers wood kits for murry bodies. Or anybody around southern IL that's in the middle of one that would let a guy come take a look...

2- 19" wheels have been sand blasted and powder coated they are decent but need some work to be show quality $75 each you pickup or pay for shipping

I have two 19" Goodyear tires in great shape less than 5 miles on them were just mounted on the rim in fall of 2013. You pickup or pay for shipping. $200

I have front and rear hubs, drums, brake bands, and all the brake parts in nice condition seems to be original and a complete rear end that is rough and the banjo is broken. Plus the brake rods. Would like $750 for all will sell just pieces but would like to move it all. Can email pictures.

so what you are saying Tom is that when weight is on axle and tire on ground spindle moves up and rides on bearing on top and if it is not shimmed right then it will ride on the bottom of spindle on shim and felt. am I looking at this right?
