00 is the one you want to use. Be sure to thin the 1 Shot paint before you do it. Right out of the can is too thick. If you don’t have the 1 Shot reducer you can use turpentine… not regular old paint thinner. Good luck. Marc

I have put a lot of engines together over the years but I have never de-burred one. I am getting ready to assemble my Burtz but need some guidance on what needs to be addressed. Any advice and or photos would be appreciated. Thank you , Marc

I would use red thread locker before re drilling if you have never used it you would be amazed how well it works.

Why couldn’t you drill the torque tube up by the overdrive tap it with 1/4 inch pipe thread and a hose barb and vent it up there? You wouldn’t really see it. Just a thought.

I have read that a group 2 battery fits the box better but are more expensive. If it is true that it fits better because the size is a little larger, does it mean it’s a better battery because it costs more? Thanks for the advice. Marc
