    1940 sedan steering wheel

Trying to remove my steering wheel. The horn button is unclipped and the nut is off. There are not any 5/16 holes to use a hub puller as others have said to use. The outer metal part of the horn is still inside the hub - does this come out somehow ?This Kiwi is frustrated !

    Twin Carb "issues"

I installed new PV's from Vintage speed but have some 4.5 ones coming. I also have #49 and #48 jets awaiting. Being in NZ makes it frustrating as the time to get stuff, the poor dollar exchange and crazy shipping costs. Two PV 's, one set of jets and 4 gaskets come out to NZ$203 ! All in the joy...

    Twin Carb "issues"

Hi Team. I recently installed two "new" Holley 94's on my 59a. #51 jets and 7.5 PV as a base set up. Float levels are set at recommended height / drop. The car starts easily first pop and idles sweetly. The "issue" i have is that i have the idle screws wound right in closed - is this normal ?

    40 Deluxe fuel gauge

Planojc. Found that the scuff plate had squished the wire down and created a 'ground'. Problem solved thanks to all you guys advice. I now have a NOS fuel gauge coming that will join all the other parts on the shelf, as in Burt Munro's words, "offerings to the god of speed ". One happy Kiwi...

arm rest / door panel installation 1940 coupe

Thanks for that info. The arm rests that i got from CW Moss are just the metal ware and some sponge foam, i have to cover them with the material from the LB kit. Impossible to cover them and then bolt them to door card. Guess the only way is to JB Weld / glue bolts to armrest first ?

Call me simple, but after purchasing the arm rest kit from Vintique through CW Moss i cant work out how to bolt them to the door card after attaching the upholstery to them that came with the Le Barron kit. TIA
