I have a 30 Tudor with hyd. brakes. I am cleaning the bearings and re-packing but the seal I received from Macs is way too big. Are the drums different for the Hyd. System? My old seal is about 2 -28/32, the new is almost 3.2" Any ideas where I can get a new seal? I old one is kaput.

Try turning the GAV valve all the way in until it seats. I tried everything and found this simple solution stopped all leaks.

It is a crankcase breather tube.

I have been unable to loosen the drivers side rear drum. Passenger side came off fine. I have used a puller, tried heat, and am now out of ideas. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the info. It is set at .20 and runs fine, I was just curious is there was a dwell reading.

Is there a dwell angle for a model A point setting? I cannot seem to locate anything but gap.

Thanks for all your help guys. It turned out to be a plugged line between the sediment bowl and the gas tank. I really appreciate all the advice.

The ignorant one here again. The engine will start up, run strong for 15-20 seconds and then just die. I have..replaced the carb, removed the add-on inline filter, removed the gas cap ,installed a new coil. The timing and dwell are O.K. Chocking the engine will not keep it running. How...

Ignorant here again. I replaced the coil, removed the add-on fuel filter, replaced the carb, removed the gas cap, Could it be the ignition switch? The condenser?
