I run the new style Champion X plugs on 5 different T's. They are gapped at .025" and clean them once a year whether they need it or not.

Look at it this way- if you get "free starts" your engine is well-tuned. Free Starts give you bragging rights. Not everyone gets 'em. I hope they continue.

While doing this testing, make darn sure that you don't accidentally allow DC voltage to enter the mag post. If your magneto is alive now- it won't be after the accidental DC voltage makes contact. The magnets will be de-magnetized. Just a friendly warning. I wish someone had warned me!
