Yes, rechroming them has crossed my mind. The original handles have some corrosion on them but they are not pitted. Being a frame off restoration I was hoping for reproductions that were nice and shinny. I am sure that someone else has had this issue..

I have come up with an issue with replacement exterior door handles for 29 Murray. I purchased from Snyders product # A-702350-C and A-702351-C door handles that fit a 28-29 4 drs, Cabriolets and Victoria's. These look just like mine with scroll type handle. The replacements have two issues...

The body is all painted and just about ready to be put back on the frame. The chassis is a rolling chassis with the front fenders, splash aprons and running boards etc. installed. The webbing is under the splash aprons and front fenders. I have from Snyders part# A-5000-P (Body Block Pad Set)...
