hard to say, I would need some more information about size and weight. I know someone, who loads containers in NY, so it also needs to be shipped to the harbour in first place (how much would that cost?). But without dimensions its hard to get a cost estimation about shipping cost.

Correct, I'm truly struggling with finding a suitable frame. More difficult over here than where you are. It's not for a show car, I want to use it, it shall be functional.

the main question here is how grease a rebuilt and clean u-joint. best option till now sounds like a mixture of grease and 600w and that in a volume to fill up the u-joint cover... would be interesting to know what Brent is using when he rebuilds his project.

I'm digging out this old thread because I'm currently rebuilding my rear axle and also had to take down the torque tube and therefore also opened the U-Joint. Sadly I've not taken a picture but what I found is a lot of grease inside the u-joint housing, next to the grease fitting but nowhere...

@Brent No, the 7 tooth assembly is beyond repair.. I'd like to use the 30/1 column that I bought (from the picture above) together with a 29 steering wheel, the form that was used on the Phaeton. (except somebody is offering me the correct 29 column for a good price and mine goes onto scrap...

I've got a 29 Phaeton with a 7 tooth steering that was modified beyond any hope. That's why I took advice and organised a 2 tooth steering assembly to rebuild instead of investing into the 7 tooth. Unknown as I was, did I end up with a 30/1 column, I just wanted to order all the spare parts...

This is about the best I could do, about the set-up of the fasteners on the curtains.
