Thanks for the heads up Kevin. I mainly wanted to get away from headlights dimming when braking or backing off, seems like lED are just as bad. I also have a 3rd brush gen and a fun projects reg. but I have the gen set at 12amps maybe I should increase it a bit. Would relays help the situation ?.

Interesting topic. Way back in my speedway days I blew a couple of engines (not fords) and was told to reduce the oil level. I did and no more blown motors. Apparently the crank created a void around the oil pump inlet. A bit late in life to learn that one.

Found this in my old photos. A display at one of our local schools some time back. All were local fords.

Yes Lawrie Lyn & I done a trip out that way Junda was like a green belt. It was just after a lot of rain and it was green all the way down to Lightning Ridge. Lots of goats though. Kpar

Well Lawrie here I sit feeling down, only running on 5 cylinders and wondering how to pick myself up. Then I saw your posts, that's what our 33's were made for. Have Fun (& check out the power station that I mentioned) Keith
