the idle screw is richer in and leaner out even on a Tillotson?

That is what I've done. I watch it when starting after it has sat awhile. Just to make sure.

With an open driveline you can adjust the angle of the ujoint at the rear by rotating the housing on the spring mount before welding them up. On a closed driveline the only way to change the angle would be to lower or increase rear ride height or monkey with the engine mounts.

yes, it might have even been cheaper than $12, I can't remember now. I was shocked that they could get it. It was in Portland so I had to wait a day. I replaced it last month. A Felpro cork set with the rope for the front.
