    Oil pump aerating oil

Exactly, so where is it getting aeriated? His pump is well submerged in oil, 10W30, room temp. If there were a restriction somewhere, making a venturi effect, could that do it? Thanks again.

    Oil pump aerating oil

Hi guys, I'm helping a friend of mine diagnose an oil foaming problem with his '29 Model A. He's building a new engine and has put in a modified oil pump and he has modded the oil system to put oil where it wasn't before as well as adding an external filter. He's testing the pump by driving the...

That's pretty slick Ken, nice job! Let us know how she runs and drives. I really need to get back to mine, haven't touched it in months. The engine is wired and ECM is intalled, next is the main wiring harness. Cheers

Let's start a junkyard fuel injection discussion

Just re-read the thread and missed this, great idea, I was going to build a hot wire setup but I have a number of Weller guns here and will try those first, maybe mod one to use hot nichrome wire. cheers

Thanks Ken, Yes, classic braid...$240, but there's enough to do several vehicles, maybe more. It's best cut with a hot wire as scissors just mangle the ends. cheers

Let's start a junkyard fuel injection discussion

Thanks for the compliment, much appreciated. I have made a lot more progress and will make another update once it's all back together. I decided to strip the injection system off to paint the engine and firewall then start to reassemble it, permanently so I can carry on with the main chassis...

Hi Guys, I am restoring the gauges and getting ready to use them in a 12V system and I have 2 complete sets that came with the F-47, but the TEMP and OIL behave the opposite from each other, and I am wondering why. You can see in the pictures that 2 are stationary at full right, and 2 are to...

Flathead 4 barrel intake port help please

Thanks Mart, And that is exactly what I was hoping for, as the fuel injection alternates the injector pulses side for side, and as it turns out, is working very well for me so far. I just welded up a temporary exhaust from the headers so I can mount the O2 sensor and start gathering data and...

Junkyard electric fan recommendations '49 F-47

Hi Al, Does this look like your fan? There are about 4 or 5 listed for the Liberty, I'm not sure if this is a push or pull fan, I continue checking. It's 2 speed which is great. cheers https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-49991-620-475.aspx ps further checking shows the one I linked is a puller...
