    '29 pickup doors

Hey guys, question for ya! A buddy of mine is looking for doors for a '29 model A pickup. I suggested that he broaden his search to '29-31, as I thought that they were interchangeable. Did I speak out of turn? Are they the same or are the different model years different? Thanks in advance, Ken!

    12/7/41 Pearl Harbor Day

Clem, I too lived in Hawaii from '63 thru '66. Dad got transfered there and worked for FRFE in Kunia Tunnel. Right across the street from our house on Wheeler Field was the single men's dorm and the main runways. It was amazing to me, a young lad of 9, to be able to ride my bike up the the dorm...

I Ran Out Of Gas Today!

I've run out of gas twice! Both were Fords. First time was in 1973 when dad and I were rebuilding a '66 Mustang for for my mom. Luckily, it was only 2 miles from home and I was a studly 19 years old and walked home, got a two gallon gas can and walked back and got it home. Second time was...

Man, that sure hit home! My grandfather and 3 uncles fought in WWII! One of my uncles hit the beach on Normandy 68 years ago and received the Purple Heart w/ 2 Oak Clusters by the time he got to Germany. Uncle TC is my hero and always will be! Unfortunately, for all of us, they are...

    Just An Old Truck

Thanks for the picture, Ryan! Brings me back to my "Yoot"! If I had to guess, I'd say that it was originally a 35 MM slide! Dad bought a 35 mm Argus camera back in the mid 50's that beats the heck out of the digital crap we have today! I am in the process of converting several 35 mm slides...

    Seat Belts ?

If you plan to drive it, do yourself a favor and put seat belts in it, even if nothing more than lap belts! If you want it to look original, you can always tuck them away when showing it! Seat belts DO save lives!

Yeah, we could call it the "New and improved, guaranteed not to piss anybody off, the seven words you can't say on tv, don't say this or don't say that joke thread" but only if the ghost of McCarthy doesn't think it has a commie overtone to it!" Sorry in advance if I hurt someone's feeling by...
