A few more pictures! I have recently picked up a 1973 Ford F100 and a 1973 Ford F250, and I think most of these parts will mount on my trucks. The front bumper would look good on my 1965 Ford F250.
I am looking to find the value of some parts that are on a 1977 Ford F100 truck in a local parts yard. The truck has been picked over pretty good but there are a few things still there that I would like to grab before they scrap it. It has a good front bumper I could use, what is a good price on...
I purchased this overdrive unit this past weekend at a garage sale for $10. The guy said it was out of a 1955 Ford but wasn't for sure. Is this a Ford Overdrive? What would it have been used in?
Thanks!
I pulled the manifold and found the leak in the exhaust at the fourth cylinder exhaust port. Ill order new gaskets and that will fix that problem. I pulled the side access panel and found that the third exhaust valve is still sticking. I have compression in the first, second and fourth...
Please watch the video and tell me what I should do to solve a taping sound as well as lack of power.

I did replace the spark plugs and coil as well, so those are new. The distributeor is stuck in there pretty solid, so it might be a challange getting out unfortunatly. I will have to check the point gap to see where it is set at.
Thanks!
I took my 1930 Ford Model A to its first car show yesterday and had a blast with it there. It was the oldest car at the show. :D It starts right up and runs good at idle, and I was able to make it to the show that was only 5 miles away, but it had trouble keeping enough power to make it go...
Make sure as well you have compression in each of the Cylinders. The Intake and Exhaust Valves can stick after so many years of sitting without being lubricated. That happened to my 1930 Ford Town Sedan, the car sat for about 10 years without being run and the second and third exhaust valves...
Only hold that Choke out for a split second when starting the Car. I learned that if you hold out the choke for too long you will get a nice stream of fuel flowing from it! Being an up-draft carberator, it has only one place to go and thats out where the air comes in. The fire probably started...
I was able to free up the right head on the engine yesterday and pulled it off. Glad I did as I would have never been able to turn that engine over with the crank. There sure was a lot of crap in the cylinders, especially in the second from the right. There's a few inches of scale and other...
I am going to use this thread to keep everyone up to date on the progress that is being made on my newly acquired Barn Find 1938 Ford One Ton Express Pickup Truck.
After getting the truck home I pulled it into the shop with a tractor and put it on Caster Wheel Dollies to be able to move it...
Today I went out and started my 1965 Ford F250 Pickup. The last time I ran it she gave me issues on staying running. It started fine tonight and I ran it for a few minutes and it idled fine for a little bit then steadily got worse and then died and the alternator light came on. I then tried...
The Story of My New 1938 Ford Pickup!
This last Sunday we went and picked up this 1938 Ford One Ton Express Pickup Truck. This deal had been in the making for a few months and now were able to wrap it up. A friend of mine and I went to the Lancaster Event Center Swap meet in Lincoln, Nebraska in...
I was able get the horn to work on the bench so I put it back on the car. I then pushed the horn button on the column and it did make noise for a second but then nothing. Does anyone know where to go next to make this thing work? The wires are connected good from the horn to the wire in the...
