    Gasoline smell in my garage - 26 T / 30 A

Hi everyone, I’ve got a 26 Model T roadster pickup and 1930 A cabriolet. I store them in a two car garage attached to my house but there is no entrance from the garage to the house. There has always been a strong gas smell in my garage fri, these cars, especially stein after I fill up. I had a...

    Model T rust issue

I had a radiator leak for a period of time (now resolved), but it left some rust issues as seen in the picture. What’s the best way to deal with this? Do I need to blast and repaint, or can just sand and do the same? What’s the best way forward? Amateur enthusiast here. Thank you in advance!

    26 T radiator leak

Good to know. I guess I’ll just keep driving and monitoring for leaks. Hopefully there is no leak and I just overfilled! Fingers crossed! Thank you everyone!

    26 T radiator leak

How topped off should the radiator be? The leak didn’t seem to be coming from the overflow drain, however, I drove it for about 10 minutes the other day and there was no leak. Below is a photo of the level of the radiator fluid. Does this level of fullness seem appropriate? How topped off should...

1930 Model A - stuck temp gauge bolt

I tried the torch - didn’t budge! Not sure what my next move is. Maybe that wrench that was recommended?

1930 Model A - stuck temp gauge bolt

Hi everyone - I’m trying to replace my Model A temperature gauge. The bolt where it enter is stuck. Attached is a photo. I can’t get it to budge at all. I’m an amateur and was wondering if there are any tricks to remove it. I do have a portable torch I could use to heat it but thought that...

    26 T radiator leak

My 26 T just started with a radiator leak. I can’t seem to locate where it’s coming from. I let the car idle in the driveway for 20 minutes and it didn’t leak. Then I took it around the block and the leak started again. The level of fluid is not near the baffle. It doesn’t seem to be leaking...

    26 T engine temperature

Took my 26 roadster out the other day just for a very short drive. I had a little smoke (or I think vapor) coming from the radiator. The levels were fine before and after driving and it wasn’t overloaded either. I was worried that maybe the engine was running too hot. A friend recommended...

1930 Model A engine running hot

I’ve got a 1930 Model A. When I got it about 8 years ago the previous owner had installed a temperature gauge. It’s underneath the steering column. The engine has been running hot and a friend of mine suggested that perhaps the gauge itself is bad. I was thinking of replacing it. We’ve tried...

    26 T door panels

I’m persuaded! I will keep them - thank you 😊

    26 T door panels

Might they be original? If so I’ll definitely keep them. The one of the drivers side so is a little scuffed, but not too bad.

    26 T door panels

These are the interior door panels on my 26 T. They’re basically cardboard. Are these what are supported to be in my T? Do the make replacements? Do they make anything better and maybe with pockets? Interested in what a 26 roadster came with stock. I checked Langs and didn’t see anything. Thank you!

    26 T starter button bad?

By the way, the kit came with a button extension. It’s several inches long. Why would anyone need an extension that long?

    26 T starter button bad?

Got the new one installed. The bolts were glued together so I had to remove them with a hack saw. Took forever! Got the new one hooked up. It’s not a perfect fit but it will do. The car started immediately! I think that button was partially fried for a long time because I can’t believe the power...
