There may not be a rain gutter, but MFG.instruction said "hidem welt goes under rain gutter" ???

I am putting a new top on a 29 sport coupe for a friend in our club but this is something I have never done before and I don't know how the top material, rain gutter & hiden welt goes together, the instructions from the MFG. leave a lot to be desired. Would someone please send me some close up...

To check for a frame with the body on take 5-6 pieces of straight wire(welding rod works best) about 19" long, bend one end over1/2-3/4" 90 DEG. & and make sure all long arm's are exactly the same length, hang the short arm"s on top of the clean frame between frame & welt evenly spaced down one...
