Sammy at Arizona Model A was being lined up to be a stockist in US but I don't know what became of that
Too much $$$ for the hobbyist I suspect, but worth a look for serious racers, Peking to...
Hi Brad
Yes attached pic is an English headlight lens with the purple/magenta/lilac tint. They are getting hard to find
On the edge you can see Dad's 31 Cabriolet has commercial English sidelights. We've got some proper stainless car 30/31 style ones somewhere (no not for sale!) which belong...
This is the headlamp that would have been fitted to the Gilmore English Deluxe Phaeton. I wonder if she still has them? Note stainless buttons over rivets and mounting ball. It rains in England….

Ford was never bothered about any mismatch of diameters between carb and inlet manifold
In England the Kayse carb had the same dimensions as a Zenith, the only difference being being different jets and smaller diameter pot metal Venturi.
The small bore AF engine had an inlet manifold of 1"...
He used to have one but prefers to speak to his customers on the phone

I needed a phenolic spacer on mine
I added a secondary return spring to make sure the throttle snapped shut when I took my foot off the gas, rather than just rely on the spring on the carb
My actuating arm has the longer length on the bottom and the shorter end above the pivot. I've recently...
Beware fake Weber carbs
Sammy at Arizona Model A does the complete kit - genuine new carb and manifold, linkages etc as a bolt on
He also does a neat cast iron exhaust manifold to go with
My Dad (John Charlton) has given me these to stick up and ask a question
The one on the top is an Eaton Easi On
The one on the bottom is off an English Tudor
They look very similar, but the inner on the English one is stainless not mild steel.
Dad is wondering if the stainless inner is...
Not this one, but my buddy Jamie fitted a Wade RO34 to his Roadster
The head is a "GEM" one of six made in UK by Belcher Engineering
Wades are reasonably easy to get hold of in UK. The last one I bought was £100

Posted for Dear Old Dad above
From your pics it looks like you are missing the rear transmission bearing retainer (part no AA 7085 B). This is different from the pressed steel unit which goes with the muff coupling.
My Dad (John Charlton above) has these here in England, but Sammy Guthrie of Arizona Model A will have a...
Ah sad news indeed.
We corresponded a fair bit when he was planning a trip to Cuba with some friends. I had previously been to Havana a couple of times and had an English friend living over there (also sadly recently deceased) who was able to point them in the right direction I think...
