Thanks for the advice Mike. I do not think I will take the time to try and get it running but I will lay everything out and take pictures. I am afraid that if I start tinkering with it to get it running, I will never sell it. Not George, I don't really get the reference....

Mike, I have free indoor storage until the end of the month. Come May 1st, I have to move it out of my fathers shop, he needs the room. I would like to sell it "as is" if possible. What do you feel is a fair asking price for what I have and how much do you feel the asking price would raise by...

After a lot of debating with myself and talking with Mrs. L, I have decided to sell my Model A project. I already have my plate full with other projects and can not see myself having the time or money anytime soon to finish this project. Both my garage and my hanger are already full with...

Yes, I am 95% sure it is a 1929. The engine number is A2031909. According to MODEL A/AA DAILY MOTOR PRODUCTION CHART, my engine was stamped on 07/30/29 and my fuel tank was stamped on 07/24/29. There is a second fuel tank that came with my project that was also stamped in late July of '29. I...

My Tudor and its parts stash have been moved! Last weekend I went down my parents house to retrieve my new car. It took the better part of a day but I managed to get the Tudor and most of its parts moved into my fathers shed for winter storage. Since this was the last car that Mrs. L's father...

While polishing spark-plugs for the Continental Aircraft Cylinder Lamps that I build and sell, I found that Home Depot, Menards, and my local Ace Hardware stores carried jewler's rouge. I think Ace had the better selection but Home Depot had the best prices. I hope this helps

This makes me nervous. I also live in Minnesota and just today I took possession of my new '29 tudor project that was gifted to me. I have no bill of sale yet and there is no title for it. I found the engine number but I was not able to locate the frame number. I am hoping that with a little...

Tom, After looking at pictures of the heater installed in other Model A's, it looks like it would be a pretty tight bend to route the heater hose down to the floorboard? Are you suggesting going through the floorboards to preserve the cowl or because it would be an easier installation? Thanks

As of right now, I am planning on moving my new Model A to my parents shop on Friday. I will head down there Thursday afternoon to get ready for the move. Hopefully, if everything goes well, by midday on Friday, my new '29 will be safely stored in my fathers shop. I think I will bring all the...

Thank you for the link! I guess all is not lost to make it into a staff car. Mike, there is a total of 3 wood spoke wheels in the stash. I talked to Mrs. L's son about them and he thinks that they were late Model T wheels that his grandfather had put in with the A's parts stash. Since I have...

I really do not know yet, I will have to look..... It is amazing how many little details there are to tell the years apart. I never would have guessed. I hope that by the time I am done with this project, I too will know the differences. Does anybody know if the Model A was ever used by the...

Thanks everyone! I am really looking forward to this project. Tom, I did not even know that the gas tank had a date on it. Where would I find it? I was thinking that the gas tank was a replacement tank. I hope to be able to pull some of the parts out tomorrow and get a better look at them...

Hello everyone. I am new to the Model A but I was recently gifted a '28-30 Model A Tudor Sedan project from a long time family friend. Mrs. L's husband is in a care center with severe Alzheimer's and she has decided to liquidate their estate. I have been actively working with her to sell off...

I realize you are out in California, but I am currently trying to help a long time family friend sell her husbands TT here in Minnesota. I made a post asking about value in another thread. There are some pictures in the other thread. http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=149980 She is...

Ok everyone, here are some pictures of the '26 TT that will be going up for sale soon. I am sorry, I was not able to pull it outside for pictures. I just did not have the time to pull it out, clean it up, and try to get it running. Between my 10 year Iraq deployment reunion, helping Lorraine...
