Steps to install anti-rattle felt in steering column

I just need the anti-rattle. I also have a convertible which would help if I have to pull the entire steering column.

Steps to install anti-rattle felt in steering column

What do I need to take apart the steering column to install the anti-rattle felts. I guess I need a step by step and what to watch out for. Also how long should it take to perform this repairs. What else should I consider doing while I have it apart. Thanks

    Babbitt Material

So I took it that he was using mostly the Genuine #2 and adding a small amount of lead based materials creating his own blend. He told me they have been doing babbitt work for more than 80 years.
