    47 ford pickup

If you take off the wind deflector you'll see that there is a serrated bracket holding on the piece with the wheel. If it's not moving, it's stuck. The piece that the wheel is attached to, definitely moves. I installed the hood on my 47 P/u about 2 weeks ago.

The piece on the wind deflected just above the radiator, where the latch attaches when close is adjustable. Loosen the 2 bolts and slide the bracket with the roller roller up or down.

47 1/2 ton light switch diagram

Where can I get an easy to read (not micro print) diagram for the wires going to the light switch? A print that will show wire colors and to which post they go to. Is there a diagram available that shows what each post on the switch controls?

    Dry rod bearings

The engine ran for a short time and sounded good to me. The bypass spring and valve were in place. When I get the block back ,I'll check the plugs mentioned and hopefully find the problem. The fuel pump bushing was damaged. It was removed and will be replaced when block returns

Recently ran a flathead v8 that I was told had been overhauled but never ran in over 20 years. On first run the engine overheated with smoke coming out the breather. Disassembled engine, removed the plugs from front and rear of oil passage and founds blockage in that line.......The rod bearing...
