I suggest that ford axles were factory installed with the axle information ie Ford ,part # etc.in the boss at the left front corner. Also I suggest that the front crossmember has a 4 degree forward angle. A lot of low caster is because the crossmember is worn so the spring has a bad fit. I have...

I had two made for a pair of 37 cabriolets by a local very talented upholstery .I bet he still has the paper pattern, I bet the 36 and 37 are the same . see if you can find out are both the same .

an off the wall suggestion : Loosen off the bell housing bolts and try a drive .retighten the bolts .Q do not the flywheel bolts have a flange ,to fit tightly into the flywheel .Did you use them .Last might you have a tight universal joint that can cause a dance.
