    Model A Brake Lights

I like the LED replacement lens where the whole lens is red and you can have it all come on for tail light and get brighter for stoplight.

    Rear spring lubrication

We use a product called EZ Slide, it is available at Tractor Supply locations and on line. The picture shows a 1QT can but it comes in spray cans too. We are doing the front spring for the next Model A Times build, a 1929 Cabriolet that will be a great tour car.

    Model A Roadster/Pheaton Security

The early phaetons placed the side curtains in a pan under the rear floorboard. When I first got my phaeton I didn't have the pan and made one that was deep enough to place tools and a jack etc. The luggage had to go on the rack on the back and you are running the risk of someone taking stuff...

    What horn size?

The reproduction horns are made by A&L and are excellent. They are correct in all details and the motors are superior to the original. You would be happy with one of those.

    Mafca national/regional meets

The average cost of a weeks vacation is roughly $1,200 per person per week. Did the meet exceed that? It appears MAFCA is looking for people to step up and create groups to find a location and do a meet. That looks like a way for people to put their stamp on the convention.

    oil filter kit?

we reviewed all the oil filter options a few years ago. The most effective is the one that replaces the valve cover and has the filter installed there. The delivery of the oil to the filter is under pressure so virtually all of the oil is filtered. There are adapters available to allow the...

A few questions Regarding Aftermarket Sheet Metal Parts

We've used most of the various reproduction parts over the years. We've heard all of the objections to the parts by people saying they don't fit etc. Before you start talking down about the parts be sure your project is 100% correct. Most frames are sagging, the bodies are out of square etc...

When was the tools put in the Model A

At what point were the tools and the owner's manual placed in the Model A. Was it during the assembly, when it was shipped to the dealer, or done at the local dealer? I would like to hear from someone that has seen documentation of when it was done and what that documentation was.
