New Guy with a 38 Pickup

It is a 1938 grill it just doesn't have the stainless center piece. the 39 had the grill bars touching in the center the 38 has a space down both sides of the center. It is an easy mistake to make.

    Macs Customer service

I will add nothing good about Mac's nor anything bad. I had a run in a few years back with them, but I promised Ryan that I would stop talking about Mac's because it is one of the sponsors for this web site.

    Mac's Auto Parts

My problem was not with the ""new" 37 ford 6 volt tall type ignition coil (78-12036-A), it was with Mac's in general. Sorry if there was any confusion.

    Canvas Picture Christmas Present

I like the picture. I especially like the 1938 Ford Pickup with the plate that reads "1938 PU". I used to have a personalized plate on mine that read, "His 38". It now has YOM plates from Texas on it. Enjoy your Christmas and your new picture.

Best alternator conversion for my '41

I used an alternator that is disguised to look like a generator. It will not fool a trained eye, but it looks better than a modern silver bodied alternator. It is a Powermaster powergen. Below is their information on it. If you like traditional looks and reliable, modern performance...

    Bob drake again

I have ordered three things from "Back Order Bob". I received two of them and neither of them fit, though they were supposed to be a perfect fit. One of them I had to have machined to make it work. It cost me more to have it machined than I paid for the product. The third item was on back...
