I got a set of those from Drake for my 36 coupe. Same problem as Heard had. I bought a split die and ran it down multiple times to make it have deep enough thread after I cut it off for length.

I had Metal Union Speed Shop in Lilburn GA fab and install the gutters in my coupe when I converted it back to a trunk after a previous owner cut it to make a rumble.No more puddles in the trunk floor now! The Drake repop trunk hinges didn't fit and the real ones are rare and pricey.

The first time it happened to me, the whole shebang was gone. Just the stud that goes through the roof was left I think the wiper blade becomes a sail and it is barely attached on a good day anyway.

The whole assembly WILL fly off at speed! I keep my wiper blade in the glove box and a small piece of rubber hose or similar over the end of the arm. No danger of scratching the paint if the motor is engaged. Rain-X of course, but sometimes it is a necessary item to have at the ready.

look at Albrights upholstery Pligrip flex trim I used it for my headliner attachment and it worked great I also have quite a bit left if someone could use it
