My thanks to those who have PMed me and replied here. We think we have found a new home for the remaining parts here in Northern Calif. Ron had been working pretty diligently on selling his good restored stuff since he finished his Light Delivery, as he did not plan on doing any more...

Yep. Gonna be a take-it-all deal. Thanks.

I'm posting on behalf of the Feather River As in Quincy, CA. Our long-time member Ron Rude, who was well known in this forum and in the hobby, passed away a couple of years ago. His family gave his Model A parts to the club. We have no members who are interested in the parts--we're all old and...

...to tell me if this will work? The car is a '29 Tudor. The wood is the tack rail above the rear window frame to which the headliner gets attached. It is supposed to line up with the ends of the tack strips that curve around the rear corners. This one lines up pretty well on the driver's side...

Tom, was it Post #5 in this thread?

Jeff and Steve, My May car has the studs for the rubber front mat. There are holes in the rear body crossmembers that I suspect would be for mat studs. They show no sign of ever having any kind of fastener in them. I hope to confirm this soon by inspecting another Tudor--a couple of fellow...

Larry, I think it means two fixtures, each with two bulbs. They appear to be identical to the fixtures I bought in-store a few months ago. I believe the price was around $45 each, so the $80 regular price for a two-pack sounds about right. I also have a couple of the Home Depot LED shop lights...

Here are links to better versions of the manual pages: Lockheed adustment page 278 Lockheed adustment page 279 Lockheed adustment page 280

Yes, these are "late" flathead Ford brakes. Here are pictures of pages from an old MoTor manual with adjustment info. You won't have the factory tool, so you will have to work against your brake drum and repeat the process two or three times until you get close. Joe Edit--the photos don't come...

That's probably what the OP is looking for--I'm so used to dual-filament bulbs that I went there instead... Joe

Costco also has LED shop lights. Two-pack of LED shop lights

Six volt 3cp/21cp bulb with offset pins is 1154. The NAPA part number is LMP 1154. Joe

I have a photocopy of an article in the MAFCA Restorer by Ed Rossig, titled "Analysis: Model A Fan and Water Pump". I wrote "11-4" on the copy, which I think meant the July-August 1966 issue (I made these copies about 30 years ago). In it he presents some charts listing "temperature measurements...

Ralph, The bulletin calls for a height of 10-5/8"to 10-11/16", width of 23-5/8" to 23-11/16", with corner radius of 1-1/2". The top and bottom curves are specified as "13/64 TRUE SWEEP" which I take to mean that the variation from straight at the middle of the glass is 13/64". That makes more...

Hello, Steve and all... I'm back at work on my Tudor, starting in on the upholstery panels which means I will soon need floor coverings. My search on "Tudor carpet" returned this thread which I missed while I was hiding in the weeds for a couple of years. Steve, I have a similar car, which you...
