Nothing special about the Model A to the general public in my opinion. I’ve had several Model A Fords and my 1936 Ford Cabriolet gets just as much attention as a Model A.

The Optima Red Top 6 v is well worth the price. Bought one about a year ago for my 36 Cabriolet. Car starts quicker and seems to run better with the Optima. You can order direct from Optma. Joe

The car was built to run with a six volt electrical system. Increasing battery voltage by 33 percent is not a good idea. You can see when bulbs burn out but what about damage to the coil, etc? There is a risk but where’s the gain? Just put a 6 volt Red Top Optima battery in my 36 Cabriolet...
