    Fuel Filter issue

The local Oreillyauto can not get the Wix 33030 filter. Does it cross to a specific vehicle fit? Perhaps there is a Fram number out there?

    Air Filter or not

I recently added an air filter from Snyders or Bratons, can't remember. The air filter is made to fit works well and has a metal element. I have been told that an air filter of any kind is too restrictive and can make the engine run too rich. The carburetor (Zenith) is not designed to have the...

    Radiator hose clamps

I changed all my hoses and ordered the era specific old style clamps from Snyders. The clamp has a screw and square nut to tighten. Has anyone had any trouble getting these clamps to tighten before reaching a point of stripping them? I have two clamps that are close to becoming over tightened...

    Engine Head Torque maintenance

I recently purchased a 1930 A. The motor was rebuilt two years ago and has a few thousand miles on it. Motor runs great, no issues. Do you recomend I check the Head Bolts to re-torque? Should I just assume that a final torque was completed? Previous owner passed away. Thank you in advance.

    Tranmission oil

Anyone use Amsoil severe gear 250w? I use that in my Harley.

    Tranmission oil

600w oil is recommended. I believe that was the oil rating in 1927-30 that really matches 140w to 250w of today's oil. Is that accurate?
