Need to better explain my question..do the bolt heads face forward or back? They are most visible looking at the bottom of the rear fender..just want to get it right.
Thanks
I'm reassembling the fenders onto my 1930 Tudor. Which way do the fender-to-running boards bolts face? Do the bolt heads show when looking at the bottoms of the fenders or the nuts?
Bolts heads look better to me, but I seem to recall someone saying the nuts show.
Thanks
Kinda off topic, I know, but I've always had a concern about the same happening at the brake rod - pedal connection. That is not a lot of metal surrounding that eyelet, which is all that stops the car. Anyone had that rod assembly let go?
Well Ford decided to stop building cars for a reason.....and I agree the younger crowd is not that interested in cars.
I was at a show a few weeks ago and the average age of participants and visitors looked to be about 60. Plus, about 2/3 of the cars were rodded up, so not much interest in...

Anyone have thoughts on using something like Sprayon WL740 for touching up the zinc trim on running boards? My trim has several areas of rust, but are in sound condition otherwise. High zinc content paint looks like a good option, but I don't know about looks and durability. TIA for your...
The parts houses have a slew of pieces that are part of the sliding seat mechanism for a Deluxe Tudor, but I have no idea how they all fit together to make fully functioning unit. Anyone have an information on how to assemble the entire original mechanism from the individual parts? I have seen...
After owning my car for 17 years, I was surprised today to find out I knew nothing about the correct interior garnish colors.
The Tudor Book 1928-1931 from MAFCA notes that interior garnish was painted "gray or maroon" depending on the upholstery style. Another reference to the colors says...
By eye, the spring shackles on my 30 Tudor look fine on the car. There is no real difference in height between the left and the right compared to the axle. They take grease when I grease them. So what should I look for when evaluating them? Not that I'm looking to find a problem that...
