Ford Special speedometer cable and housing 1914

Langs used to sell these number: 6241X. It can connect the Ford special gear and drive on the wheel with a Sears Cross speedometer head. Does anyone know if Langs sold their stock of these to someone else or did they disappear by attrition? Thanks for any info.

    Stewart klaxon horn gaskets

Thanks fellas - When I put "Stewart klaxon horn gaskets" in Snyder's search engine, nothing comes up. But I tried it again with just "horn gaskets" and there we are under Model A. I talked to a tech and those Model A gaskets are a little too big for this horn. So I think I'll get a tube of...

    Stewart klaxon horn gaskets

Hello again - I'm overhauling my Stewart klaxon horn and I can't find those replacement gaskets that rest on either side of the metal diafram. Isn't there a "gasket-in-a-tube" product to lay a bead where the old gasket used to be and dries into an acceptable cork-like gasket?

This doesn't look right to me.

So I got the T running this summer. I put between 5 and 10 miles on it - easy driving up and down my street. While emptying the cooling system to put the car to bed for the winter, I see the coolant water (it was just water) is a reddish brown, the color of a fine holiday cider. It is so...

Have you seen oilers like this lately?

My car came with two of these and I'd like to get two more. They have a brass base with a pot metal flip top. Seems to me a more civilized way to oil the kingpins and the tie rods. When I try to get oil in a verticle oiler hole, more oil ends up outside than in the joint. Do you have a...

    Ruckstell question

Thanks for the info, gz. I haven't rode in a car with the Ruckstell yet and I'm having an actuation rod manufactured. I'd rather not have to lengthen the hole in the floorboard to accomodate the shift lever in the aft-most "Ruckstell" position. In the written material, I didn't get the...

    Ruckstell question

Tom Carnegie wrote an alternative solution to mounting the Ruckstell shift lever for his club's news letter. I thought Tom had an elegant solution so I downloaded the article. I ended up buying an intact parking brake lever and apparatus on Ebay from a 1923 Model T and so far, I'm pleased...

    1914 Model T touring

While I'm waiting for the carcass to return from the paint shop, the train whistle that I removed from the car had a broken butterfly valve I didn't think I could fix and looking at the advertisement for Aermore from 1924 I found on Ebay, the "t" that splices into the exhaust pipe is missing a...

    speedometer parts

The wheel gear is like new with - raised script: "Stewart" - raised script part #: 11077 - No broken teeth - raised script: 60T(eeth) 8P(itch) Furstnow's book on speedometers says this is the right gear for the 30" tires. The swivel joint turns freely. The treads on the swivel to...

1925 Ford Roadster pickup for sale

So essentially, you'd be buying a virtually brand new 1925 Roadster pickup with accessories and it's still cheaper than a Lexus.

I double checked to make sure my photos were the right size and I get an "HTTP ERROR 500" if that's any help.

    1914 Model T touring

Went to Ron's to visit my motor yesterday. Should be picking it up in the next week or so. We painted it Ohio State colors (scarlet and grey) so my sister's children will still talk to me.
