Car looks great.
One question about the head lights are they stock 1939 deluxe or are they modern set up with Bob Drake or Juliano? I have a 1939 deluxe but have 1940 head lights and want to go back to 1939 deluxe.

Thank you all for your replies.
I was not sure if 1938 coupe glove box liner would be different than 1939 Deluxe.
Some standard vs deluxe parts are different I have found out.
I saw the e-bay item that is why I have asked if the part # is the same. Many 1939 part # start with a 91A------.

I am looking for a 1939 Ford Glove Box compartment (cardboard).
Does anybody know if a 1938 (81A-430000) PART #? is the same as a 1939 Deluxe Coupe.
Thanks for any clarification on this issue.

What I am really trying to find out is
Will 1939 deluxe headlight rings fit 1940 buckets.
I do not know what buckets I have in the car. The car is a 1939 deluxe coupe but has 1940 headlight rings. I want to go back to stock 1939 deluxe rings.

Hi All,
Question on 1939 Ford Deluxe headlight rings vs 1940 ford headlight rings.
I have a 1939 deluxe coupe with 1940 headlight rings on it. I would like to put some 1939 deluxe headlight rings on. Is there a difference in 1939 deluxe /1940 headlight buckets?
thanks jeff
The question about California historical plates has nothing to do with Year of Manufactured (yom)license plates.
Apparently, they are not used very much because very few people know what they are or used for.
If you do not know what historical license plates are look it up.

Does anyone have any experience wwith California Historical License Plates.
Are there any issues using them besides possible limitations milage driven?
