    Gas Tank ID

So I'm moving ahead with this tank. I cleaned it out, gave it a first coat of paint, cleaned up the float gauge and put on a new poly float bobber, and made some mounting brackets to put it on. I'll hold it to the mounts with straps and clamps. Still trying to decide if I try to make a cap...

    Gas Tank ID

A bit more detail. I was able to remove the gauge from the tank, and also found that there is a pickup tube going to the bottom of the tank.

    Gas Tank ID

Hey there, I bought this gas tank the other day for my project. I was told by the seller that it is model T. Not sure if that's the case or not. Hoping someone here can set me straight, and maybe point me to a source for a gas cap, and how to remove/repair the "gauge" in the tank. Thanks! J

    Model A Engine and transmission

This engine and transmission came as a spare with my '29 roadster. It was sitting outside in MT for quite some time. No idea of condition. Local pick up only. $150 neg.

    1950 Merc Overdrive

drgoetz, https://vintageautogarage.com/ is still around and has all the parts you need, as well as troubleshooting and instructions. Mac VanPelt www.vanpeltsales.com also sells these overdrive parts and is a wealth of knowledge. Both options are expensive, but I've bought two solenoids now...

Dual carbs with Gen/Alt stock location

Powermaster has a "shorty" gen for this application: I have an Edmunds "dual" that has the carbs set back, and it clears the stock generator just fine. On my 8BA, I use 8RT pumps, so the belt to drive the generator is about 2" forward of other pumps.

picked up a 1935 pickup project

Great looking truck! Any insight into HOW you were able to match the patina so well? Did I miss something in the thread? I've got some patch work that I'll need to paint as well, and looking for hints/tips.

    My 1934 Ford PU Project.

Very cool! I'm sure Healdsburg was a really small town back then. Not much to update on: - Got the RR fender repaired by diFalco this week. It had some really bad sheetmetal welding done that I wanted fixed up. - Been cleaning up the paintwork as much as possible, trying to disturb things as...

    My 1934 Ford PU Project.

Here are a few more recent beauty shots. I've since put on the hood and have been driving it as often as I can. I did a drive in January with the Cruisin' North Car Club up here. Drove out to the coast and back. About 60 miles all told. Only broke down once (loose primary coil wire), but...
