The main leaf in my rear spring is broke. It"s for a coup which has 8 leaves. I have a spare spring with 10 leaves, do I switch the bottom main leaf or do I take two leaves out of the spare spring if so which two? or can I put the ten leaf spring in the coup and have a stiffer ride?

Put a lock washer on before the nut and the belt will stay where you want it!

Do any of the 15/40 or 20/50 0ils have zinc or should this be added to the oil?

Answer to 39Topless My block drains will not come out and there is no drain in the radiator. If you cut a small section out of the lower radiator hose and install pipe with a petcock you have a lower radiator hose drain.

Were all years split cores 32-53 or were the later ones not split?

Are the early flat head radiators split into two separate sections left-right? I want put lower radiator hose drains on. Do I need a drain on each side or will one drain work?

Looking for a 81C-6312-A single sheave wide belt truck pulley 1939-40 0r will a 91A-6312 39-41 car pulley with fan mount work ? If any one has any for sale would be interested in hearing from you.

Having problem getting crankshaft pulley off of 39 ford truck engine. The pulley is loose and rattles but there is a collar in front of the pulley that is tight that I'm having trouble getting off.

crank pulley is loose and rattles. It looks like not enough room to take off unless I remove the U bolts from the front spring or raise the engine a little. If I loosen the front motor mounts and then I,m not sure about the rear mounts. This on a 1933 Ford 1 1/2 ton truck. Need advice! HELP

Just came across a 1933 ford truck with a 1939 flathead run real nice but the crankshaft pulley is loose. The ratchet crank nut is tight but with the belt off you can wobble the pulley by hand. any suggestions will be appreciated.

Is the 33 ford 1 1/2 tn steering box fill with oil like the model A with the little filler plug on top?

Is the 33 Ford truck amp meter located left or right of the speedometer ? also what other gauges are located in the panel and their location ?

How do you get the spare off the back of the car? I heard some had a lock but I see no lock anywhere. Do you pry off the hub cap or what?

I have a 35 ford with a 59-AB engine converted to 12v does the condenser need to be changed?
